 I am Mrs. Rosalind (pronounced Roz-a-lynn), and I operate Salt of the Earth Child Care. My guiding principles are centered around faith, family, friendship, and community. I established this child care service to provide a clean, safe, and affordable environment for children, where they can thrive in a nurturing atmosphere.

Our team comprises highly qualified professionals, collectively bringing over 100 years of experience in child care and education. Director, Salt of the Earth Childcare, Mrs. Brenda brings over three decades of distinguished service in education, healthcare, and community leadership. As Director of Salt of the Earth Childcare, she is committed to cultivating a nurturing, faith-centered environment where children aged 2 and older can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Her educational career spans more than eight years in primary and elementary instruction within the public school system, complemented by over 20 years of service as a Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Appomattox, Virginia. Through these roles, she has inspired a love of learning, healthy living, and strong moral values in countless young lives. Mrs. Brenda’s healthcare background is equally extensive. She has served as a registered nurse for over 25 years and as a licensed practical nurse for more than 35 years, providing compassionate care across all age groups—from pediatrics to geriatrics. Her leadership in behavioral health includes 20 years of experience as a director and supervisor, supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional and mental wellness. A dedicated community advocate, Mrs. Brenda is actively involved in organizations such as the Moose Lodge and Women of the Moose, where she collaborates with others who share her passion for service and outreach. Her multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment to children, families, and community well-being make her a trusted leader and cherished mentor in the field of early childhood education.

My name is Mrs. Lori, I am the Administrative Assistant at Salt Of The Earth Childcare. I have many years of office management experience working for a physical therapist and in Home Health. However, my first love out of high school called me back. When I graduated from Brookville in 1987, it was my dream to be in the child care field. I have taken early childhood classes and have worked at several centers. I love seeing a child's eyes light up with joy when they learn something new or make a new friend. When Mrs. Rosalind asked me to come on board with Salt, I was excited to bring my educational knowledge back into play. Hey, I'm Mrs. Brinna. I am a teacher's aide at Salt Of The Earth Childcare. I graduated from Amherst County High School in the class of 2024. During my time there, I was part of the National Art Honor Society. I am currently attendin CVCC working on my Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education. I hope to see this place flourish and am excited to be along for the ride.

My name is Mrs. Kara! I am a teacher's assistant here at Salt Of The Earth Childcare. I am originally from Maine, but I have lived in Lynchburg for about two years. I am now settled, and I just married my wonderful husband in August!

For as long as I can remember, I have been someone who loves and cares for people deeply. Through my experience volunteering in three church ministries, school observation hours, and interning as a teacher's assistant, I have learned how children need a reliable support system, and most of all Christ daily. I strive to show Christ's love to others in everything I do! I am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in Family and Child Development at Liberty University and volunteering at my church, Calvary Chapel. I am excited to use my skills to encourage the healthy development of each child at our daycare
