I am the program director of Salt of the Earth Childcare. I was born and raised in Virginia. I have worked with children for about 7 to 8 years. I have always loved teaching and working with children. Children have always been called to me and I have such a big heart for them as well. I have worked with children in high school and college. I have my bachelor’s degree from Liberty University, in education, art and psychology. I have worked as a program director for over a year now and always want to make sure all of our families and teachers feel loved, respected and supported.

I am Mrs. M. the administrative assistant for Salt of the Earth Childcare. I was born and raised in Lynchburg and moved to Madison Heights when I was married. After graduating from High School, I worked for Fairview Christian Church Daycare with children ages 2–5-year-olds. As I paid my way through college, I worked for Busy Bee Day Care, aiding in the care of children 2-3, and Graves Mill Early Learning Center as a teacher of 2-year-olds. After college, I expanded my skill set by working as a support manager at Walmart and as a customer service application rep at Genworth Financial. After taking a 5 year hiatus to start a family, I did home based work with an insurance company based in West Va. After having my second child, I became office manager for a local Physical Therapy Center. I have also worked in the health care industry doing administrative work. My heart calls me back to childcare, as I have always loved children, watching their eyes light up when they learn something new
